Baseball All Star Saturday Announced - Games will be played on Saturday, June 9th, 2012. More information to follow.
Please review the letter below for information on our complex updates and schedule for the new canteen building construction. We're excited about these long over due improvements and will be posting elevation drawings of the new canteen building soon.
Power Chevrolet Valencia has donated raffle tickets to Hart Baseball / Softball the proceeds of which will help fund our canteen reconstruction project. The prize for the drawing is a 2012 Chevy Equinox or 2012 Chevy Cruze.
Tickets are priced at $5 and are for sale in the canteen office through the end of June. The drawing will be in August of this year. Please stop by and support the League by purchasing a ticket or two.
Join the City of Santa Clarita, Wm. S. Hart Baseball & Softball and SCV Residents at the 2012 Santa Clarita Valley Dodger Day.
This year Dodger Day will be on Saturday May 19th for a 7:30 PM start Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals. FanFest will take placed between 12-6 prior to the game which will feature autograph sessions, Q&A, game and baseball competitions. There will be DJs, comedy routines and local radio stations will be present.

The following outlines the fees and explains the process for paying the umpires:
Pinto - $40 (both teams share the cost) Mustang American $40 Plate (home team pays), $35 Base (visiting team pays) Mustang National and above $45 Plate (home team pays), $40 Base (visiting team pays)
If you are a new coach, manager or other team volunteer and have not previously been approved through the LiveScan process for Hart Baseball & Softball please review the documents available now in the 'League Forms' section. Please note that LiveScan is specific to each organization so you must have a new scan for Hart even if you have been scanned and approved previously for other organizations or employment.
If you have previously completed the LiveScan processing for Hart your approval REMAINS VALID. There is no need to process again - You will be issued a new card for 2012 or on request
Once you have been processed you MUST email a photo headshot to our Security Director before you can be issued a badge (email link below).

Please NO Animals unless certified for assistance on the complex - No Exceptions. No bikes, wheelies, razor scooters or other wheeled conveyances unless required per ADA requirements.
A State of California DOJ LiveScan must be completed for all Managers, Coaches, Directors, Team Moms and Umpires. Anyone who will be interacting with the players is required to process through LiveScan.
If you completed the LiveScan process for 2009, or later years, you will be issued a new badge for the 2012 season.
