Baseball Tournament Team Selections
If you are interested in having your child be eligible to participate in post season play this summer, the deadline to turn in your Letter of Intent to the canteen is May 2, 2016.

Every Spring we select the best players from each age division to represent Hart in Pony Sanction Tournament play. The first step in the selection process is to complete a Letter Of Intent and turn it in to your manager or Hart League official. There is travel involved and your child will be required to participate in tournaments every weekend from Memorial Day until their team is eliminated from competition. DO NOT submit a LOI if you have summer vacation plans or can't commit to play every weekend. Also, DO NOT submit a form if you are only interested in playing on certain teams or for certain managers. ABL teams must also have each of their players complete an LOI to be eligible.

DO submit a form if you feel your child has what it takes to continue the Hart Tradition of Championships! Sanction play is highly competitive and there are no guarantees of playing time once selected for a team. Download the LOI and turn it in as soon as possible. You can find a copy of the LOI below.

Teams will be selected in May. Thank you,

Michael Eberle, President

2016 Hart College Scholarship Program
Since 2006 Wm. S. Hart Baseball/Softball has been awarding College Scholarships to former players. During this time we have awarded over $100,000 for players studying at a 2yr or 4yr college. Playing at the collegiate level is not a requirement to receive a scholarship, just good grades and a love of the sport. Return applications by May 1st and we will schedule an interview with all applicants.

Batting Cage Rules
Because of high demand for the cages, we have developed some rules for cage use. Please adhere to them and treat your fellow coaches and players the way you want to be treated out there. Input on how these are working can be emailed to Jay Creps and Randy Sreden, our Softball and Baseball Commissioners.

Background Check for Hart Volunteers
Hart requires that all volunteers go through a background check and get a ID badge. This includes all Managers, Coaches, Team Moms, Directors, and Auxiliary Board members. If you have been previously scanned through Hart and have a badge, (we cannot use results from other organizations) you are good to go for the fall season. After being Livescanned, or if you have been Livescanned and never received a badge, email Paul Silveri, Here, for more information or with a picture for your badge. We can crop a family photo or use a good cell phone pic.

Hart Sponsorship Program
Hart has a sponsorship program that is mutually beneficial to the league and to businesses. Sponsorship provides businesses with great visibility and demonstrates a commitment to our youth.
