Connor Coughenour was diagnosed in August with Ewing's Sarcoma and has just finished his 5th round of chemotherapy. Last summer he represented Hart on the 10U Red Tournament Team.
This Thursday, November 20, there will be a blood drive hosted by Team Connor. Hours are 8am-1pm @ James Foster Elementary. 22500 Pamplico Dr., Saugus. See flyer below for more information.
Many local businesses have made very generous donations, so there will be amazing prizes being raffled off as well as an opportunity to make a difference for Connor.
Managers! This Saturday, November 22, is the day to return your equipment bag and receive your volunteer refund. Bring your *clean* bag and gear to the equipment trailer after your final game. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication, we hope to see you back for Spring.
Hart's annual Winter Classic Baseball Tournament will be held this year on December 13th and 14th. Brackets for 6U, 8U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U. Cost is $375 if registered by December 1st. $400 after. Hart Fall Club Teams take an additional $25.00 off those prices.

Hart Baseball and Softball is a non profit organization run 100% on volunteer effort. Parents (and grandparents!) have been making Hart the best PONY/ASA league around for over 60 years. It takes over 120 'man hours' per week just to keep the league open. Double that when the canteen and Batter's Box are open.
If you would like to join the team of dedicated volunteers, there are positions open on the Board of Directors as well as the Auxiliary Board. Please see our Volunteer section for more information and details on whom to contact to get signed up.

William S. Hart PONY Baseball is looking to expand our roster to cover a growing league. If you want the best seat in the house (but you'll have to stand), come to one of the three orientation meetings on the 4th, 5th, or 6th of December. The meetings on the 4th and 5th will start at 7pm and the meeting on the 6th will begin at 9am. All meetings will be approximately one hour in length.
The qualifications are :
1. Minimum age is 16 yrs old by Spring Break.
2. You are not a member of a high school baseball team (a member of a Hart team is OK).
3. A 100% commitment to the training program and to the Hart League.

There was no softball going on at the complex on filming day. They will be back.
We will start checking for badges on Saturday October 11th. Please get your badges now. Many Hart volunteers have been Livescanned but have not sent a picture to Paul Silveri for a badge. If you do send a picture, you cannot get a badge. If you are a new coach, manager or other team volunteer and have not previously been approved through the LiveScan process for Hart Baseball & Softball please review the Risk Management Information document available now in the 'League Info' section of the website. Please note that LiveScan is specific to each organization so you must have a new scan for Hart even if you have been scanned and approved previously for other organizations or employment.
If you have previously completed the LiveScan processing for Hart your approval REMAINS VALID. Your old ID badge remains valid. New volunteers or those who need a replacement badge will be issued a new badge on request. Once you have been Livescanned you MUST email a photo headshot to our Security Director before you can be issued a badge (email link below).

Fall Ball is here!! Earn back your volunteer fee by giving us 3 hours in our beautiful Canteen!! Our first day of games at our complex is Sunday, September 14th for our Club program. Our Fall program begins on Saturday, September 20th.
We are open both Saturdays and Sundays starting September 20th.
Please contact Gaelynne Gregg at firstname.lastname@example.org to get signed up today!!! You can also stop by the canteen to sign up when you are on the complex for your game.
Our canteen is run by you wonderful parents. Without your support we could not be open for the families at Hart. Come down and lend a hand!!!
